Metropolitan Insurance sends transactional, account-servicing text messages — secure payment links and payment confirmations — to existing policyholders who request them. This program is for customer service only and does not send marketing or promotional messages.
Customers opt in verbally during an inbound phone call to Metropolitan Insurance’s payment line. When a policyholder calls for payment assistance, our representative confirms the caller’s identity and asks permission to text a secure payment link to their mobile number. The customer gives verbal consent and confirms the mobile number on the call, and only then is the text sent. We do not use web forms, purchased lists, or third-party data; messages are sent only to customers who request them on a call.
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only when a customer requests a payment link or related confirmation during a call.
Message and data rates may apply, based on your wireless plan and carrier.
